The ComboScan D ultrasound system is the first All-In-One Ultrasound imaging device built-in a 17" LCD TFT Touchscreen Monitor that integrates a fully featured computer.
Its shape gives tremendous space savings for users that within the volume of a simple LCD monitor get a computer and ultrasound system that can either lay on a desk or be wall mounted. The ComboScan D All-In-One system is a Multiple Color Doppler imaging mode ultrasound scanner. It supports multiple probes to fit different uses and budgets for human or veterinary applications.
The ComboScan D is controlled either through the touch screen acting directly on the user interface, through a regular PC keyboard and a mouse, or a dedicated ultrasound keyboard. It stays very flexible in use to fit many requirements.
The ComboScan D unique form factor make is suitable for Veterinary and Human small clinics, hospitals, as well as peculiar places such as the operation room or ambulances. Its design allows the opening of new market for experienced breeders in need for a large image display in their diagnostics, while its aesthetic aspect can carry a sense of security to patient in hospitals.
Although equipped with advanced features and high image quality, the ComboScan D stays an affordable device. It supports most Doppler imaging and other advanced imaging processing for cardiac, vascular access, and OB diagnostics. Its impressive Real-Time speckle reduction processing renders a stunning image comparable to far more expensive competitors.
With its powerful and latest generation integrated PC running Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate operating system, the ComboScan D allows users to install and run all their preferred applications including patient management systems for better follow up, as well as network tools to access PACS data. It can be equipped in addition with 3D and panoramic image processing for volume reconstruction, visualization, segmentation, and measurement.
